Dear Santa,
Another terrific year! I've been teaching piano at Redeemer Lutheran where we've had some great recital concerts. Speaking of concerts, you should come to my FREE Christmas Concert 2004 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cupertino on Saturday Dec 18 at 4:30 PM. Also, don't miss Pastor Dawn's Christmas Eve service. I'm still banging out web pages and also teaching digital graphics and web development at Silicon Valley College and San Jose State...I have just taken on the responsibilities (and more hours) as Program Director of the Graphic Arts Dept at Silicon Valley College, so I have a busy 2005 ahead of me. My Dad, Paul Smith (coincidence or?) had a bad episode with his unhappy pancreas and spent 2 weeks in Good Samaritan Hospital. Little by little they stabilized him so now he's doing better back home. It looks like we're going to have a normal Christmas after all, just not so much of the rich food and candy... Santa, I suppose you already know that my daughter, Christina has been working very hard in 6th grade. She started going to Dartmouth Middle School this year and has many friends. In spite of a broken arm from a rollerskating trip with her summer camp that set her back about 2 months, she is now biking, razoring, dancing (DDR), Egyptian jewelry making, and pet wrangling; currently the family zoo includes Carrie the Wonder Dog, 3 betta fish, and a hermit crab named "Princess Shellamunca". She has been reading the "Series of Unfortunate Events" books and is almost through the fifth volume... So, Santa, everything is going okay right now, we don't want anything special. All we want for Christmas is... Joy to the World Peace on Earth would be good, too. Well, Christina would also like Dance Dance Revolution 2... and keep an eye on my Dad, okay? Thanks
Santa and Merry Christmas!
